Michaela is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional. Michaela received her Bachelor's Degree in Youth, Adult, and Family Services from Purdue University, and her Master's Degree in Counseling from Cornerstone University. Michaela is committed to helping women learn how to live with intention and grow through their struggles and hardships.Â
Michaela offers virtual mental health therapy for women struggling with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility/secondary infertility, grief of miscarriage or stillbirth, birth trauma, post-adoption struggles, menopause, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and depression.
Michaela utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapy practices including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Grief Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapy.
